Getting Started with Ten Frames

---------------------------------------

Why should teachers use ten frames?

Ten frames allow students to “see” the anchors of 5 and 10.

They help students understand our number system, which is based on groupings of ten.
(Number Sense)

They also increase mental math fluency.
